Cathy's Kids Club is an important social service providing child daycare to families in its community. Catering to the child care needs of working parents, Cathy's Kids Club offers several different childcare programs. Each program is available as early as 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Hours are sometimes altered according to clients needs.

1. Toddler Program: This program is for children aged 18-30 months of age. In addition to basic care, this program includes feeding, diapering, toilet assistance, and basic cleanliness. This program also includes an age appropriate early childhood education program consisting of stories, art, music, and many hands-on manipulative activities set up in a classroom of learning centers. Outside playtime is offered twice per day in a small scaled age appropriate playground.
2. Preschool Program: This program is for 3 and 4 year old children. Its theme based curriculum centers around an age appropriate science or social studies theme. Music, art, vocabulary, and stories all relate to the theme of the week. For this program we begin letter and number recognition, and phonics awareness. Learning is through play experiences and learning centers that the teacher has set up in the classroom. These centers change weekly so children always have something new to look forward to! The preschool children also have outside playtime twice per day.
3. Kindergarten: We offer a full day developmental kindergarten program. Children who turn 5 before December 1 may enroll the September of that year. Our kindergarten curriculum is based on the philosophy of the leading kindergarten specialist in the United States, Bev Bos. Our small group kindergarten limited to 12 students per teacher. As in our preschool program, classrooms are set up with age appropriate theme based learning centers. In addition to recognizing letters, numbers, and phonics, this program teaches beginning reading and writing.
4. After School Program: We offer an after school program for school aged children 6-12 years of age. Transportation is available from several local elementary and middle schools in the surrounding area. Children are given a afternoon snack and have a teacher supervised "homework club". Parents having children in our other programs as well as in an elementary school have the convenience of picking up all their children at one location. This program's hours are flexible.
5. Summer Day Camp: We offer a full day summer program to a limited group of school aged children, 6-12. This program offers arts and crafts, cooking activities, days at the park, parties, games, and a weekly field trip. It is offered from mid June through the end of August.
